Manufacturing Heritage

Sleepmaster Pty Ltd, established in 1938, is Australia's and Asia's leading manufacturer of bedroom product, including quilts, pillows, mattress protectors, underblankets and underquilts. We use wool, Dacron®, polyester and feather/down fillings. We have our own factories - one in Melbourne, Australia, which is one of the most advanced manufacturing facilities of its type in the world. The other is in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China. This factory is 100% owned and managed by Sleepmaster. We have Australian and international management in charge of all facets of its operations. From this factory, we export to the world.

We source our raw materials from all corners of the globe, including fine textiles from India, Pakistan, China, Europe and North America, as well as locally manufactured components from our supply partners within Australia. Our most important raw material is the fine quality, locally grown Merino wool, renowned in Italy and the world over for the manufacture of very best Italian suits and fine apparel – imagine how comfortable it is to sleep with.

Retail Customers

Sleepmaster is a supplier to all of Australia's major retailers. The company's EDI transactions, just-in-time manufacturing processes and distribution expertise is sharply focused on meeting the needs of these key accounts. We also partner with distributors of bedding products, supplying "private label" merchandise for distribution under many varied brands.
