Sleepmaster was founded in Australia, in 1938 by ambitious Austrian immigrants. They built a respected tradition of quality and reliability.

In 1994, Sleepmaster was acquired by a Multi National Trading Company with a significant presence in Australia.

In 2000, a management team takeover led Sleepmaster into the international arena, to take on the best the world had to offer.

By 2002, the company acquired the Jason and Onkaparinga brands, both iconic Australian marks, further consolidating the company’s global reputation as Masters of Sleep.

Today, our Melbourne plant sets standards for the world, in manufacture and distribution of a diverse range of quilts, pillows, mattress protectors, under blankets and underquilts. Then, we have our manufacturing, warehousing and logistics facilities in China. Over 500 skilled employees and high technology combine to produce wide width jacquard weaving, quilting, sewing and wool sliver knit lines.

In various Chinese Provincial Capitals, we run a thriving network of retail outlets marketing our Jason range of home bedding and bathroom products.
